Doe v. Florida International University
No. 1:17-CV-21095-KMM, 2017 WL 6384007 (S.D. Fla. Sept. 18, 2017). The Firm represented a public university in a Title IX lawsuit brought by a former graduate student. The Firm moved to dismiss the student’s complaint, arguing that she failed to satisfy the requirements of Fla. Stat. § 768.28(6) and failed to state a plausible Title IX claim. The United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida granted the motion and dismissed the student’s lawsuit.
